So to me,  the zoo was bright and colorful and alive, and in my head the animals were happy there, in their own paradise, together with the ones they loved.  When crocheting this tie, I wanted to relive those colors — the brightness that only a child’s eyes can truly see. I think it’s there, woven into those threads, and you’ll feel it once you wear it. At least I hope you will. Wear it if you are brave enough to carry the colors this bright. But only if you think you can survive the crushing weight of something this soft and something this light.
